Papa tell me the crazy things you did
The things you did as a young boy

Mama my siblings and I  will wait
Till you come home before we eat
I will help fix your table
Kiss you goodnight before I retire

I want you to be always there for us
Both physically and emotionally
Solid and firm papa
A symbol of hope and protection
We miss you papa
Make us smile again

We should be more of a family
Than live like neighbours
Only say pleasantries when we see
Let's sit eat and joke papa
Family do just that

I know it's hard papa
But i promise you we will be here for you
